A few weeks back I deemed Mig as the next singer for INXS. Well, by now you might know that J.D. won the spot and Mig was not even in the final 2. I can't explain it but perhaps God is mad at the world - after all, there was Katrina and Rita and now J.D.!!

I knew the tides were turning a few weeks ago as Mig descended further into cruise ship-musical-hell and the Hobbit-esque leader of INXS was actually lavishing praise on J.D.'s awful original song "Pretty Vegas". I didn't end up watching the finale live and knew of the outcome before getting to watch it. I'm praying American Idol might be able to save rock-n-roll.

BTW, Brooke (the living mannequin) Burke was plugging for another season of Rock Star INXS - what other dead singer-less bands are out there? Hmmmmm.....
